The average gamer won’t even notice the cap exists because they will never hit it. Only avid gamers will care about it, but there are ways to boost your cap higher and higher

Hitting the cap means no more rewards until next month

Play time rewards stop accumulating once reaching their monthly maximum. The limit resets at midnight UTC on the first of every month, and rewards start accruing again

Daily limits are a percentage of monthly limits

To minimize binge gaming, daily limits ensure you only earn some of your monthly limit each day. They reset at midnight UTC, so keep coming back to earn your monthly maximum!
